Top 10 Food & Wine Pairings of the Week

This week’s top 10 food & wine pairings are just pure deliciousness – grilled fish paired with Loire reds, humongous cheese boards complemented by Canadian Cabernet Franc, caviar paired by creamy Chardonnay. Here are the most interesting pairings of this week. Post a photo on Instagram with the #grapenomad hashtag and get published on our site!

Vievite Rose + Salmon Fillet

Palliser Estate Sauvignon Blanc + Gambas Pil Pil

Combining Spanish food and New Zealand wine? Why not! This delicious starter is called Gambas Pil Pil; Gambas cooked in boiling oil with garlic, chile and parsley. To pair with it, a superb, crisp Sauvignon Blanc from Martinborough, New Zealand. Unlike the sun-drenched vineyards of Marlborough just across the water, the Sauvignon Blanc of Martinborough generally eschews tropical fruits and tends towards a strong core of green fruit, citrus fruit and herbal influences with a slighter richer, dryer texture on the palate. Palliser Estate are a leading producer in the area and also make a very commendable Pinot Noir. A delicious meal shared with good friends – thankyou, Mark and Victoria! #wine #winetasting #dinner #spain #newzealand #sauvignonblanc #gambas #cooking #foodporn #food #pairing #instagood #instadaily #photo #photooftheday #wineoclock #winestagram #winelover #wineoftheday #winesoftheworld #delicious

Teleda Old Vine Amber + Cheese Board
